CHILDREN

FirstDino Grow allows a parent or legal guardian to create a child profile containing limited information so that the platform can provide age-relevant activities and maintain the child’s journey. Only a parent or legal guardian should create a child profile or provide a child’s information. Parent or guardian confirmation is requested before a child profile is created. FirstDino Grow does not require children to create their own accounts and does not use child profiles, dates of birth, activity responses, observations or private notes for personalised advertising.

FirstDino Grow is intended as a parent-guided activity and observation platform. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, developmental assessment or treatment. Parents and guardians should avoid entering unnecessary medical information, identity card numbers, passport numbers, school details or other sensitive information in private notes. If you are concerned about your child’s development or health, please consult a qualified healthcare or child-development professional.

 

 

SECURITY

 

We implement various security measures in accordance with industry standards to protect your browsing experience and the security of your personal information both online and offline. FirstDino Grow uses measures such as email verification, account authentication, encrypted connections and database access rules to protect parent and family information. Parent accounts are designed to access only their own child profiles, activity responses, observations and private notes.

FirstDino Grow passwords are managed by our authentication service provider and are not visible to FirstDino personnel in plain text. Authorised personnel or service providers may access information only when reasonably necessary for technical support, security, maintenance, legal compliance or another purpose described in this Privacy Policy. However, no method of online transmission or storage is completely secure. Users are responsible for choosing a secure password, keeping it confidential and signing out when using a shared device.

 

 

UPDATING YOUR PERSONAL INFROMATION

 

If you are a registered user, you can review, change or correct certain personal information by logging in to your account. FirstDino Grow parents or guardians may update their account information and child profiles within the platform.

You may use Delete Child Profile to permanently remove one child profile and its related activity responses, observations and private notes. You may use Delete My Data to permanently remove all child profiles and family journey information from your FirstDino Grow account. Using Delete My Data does not delete the parent login account. If you wish to request deletion of the parent login account or other personal information, please contact our Customer Service Unit at
support@myfirstdino.com.

If you no longer want MyFirstDino.com or FirstDino Grow to keep your personal information, we will endeavour to provide a way to correct, update or remove your records. You may withdraw your consent for the collection, use and/or disclosure of personal information in our possession by using the available deletion controls or submitting your request to our Customer Service Unit. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from continuing to provide features that require the relevant information.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our products and services, maintain security, resolve disputes and comply with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements. Deleted information may remain temporarily in secure backups before being removed through the normal backup cycle. Certain transaction, security or legal records may be retained where required or permitted by law.

You may also choose to opt out of receiving marketing communications about our products and services by writing to our Customer Service Unit at support@myfirstdino.com. We may still send essential account, email verification, password reset, security, privacy or service-related messages.
