A little more about Grow

Questions parents often ask.

FirstDino Grow is a parenting platform from Malaysian brand FirstDino. It helps you discover age-appropriate play activities, record your child's responses and keep a collection of everyday discoveries. Our aim is to be your child's growing-up companion through play, connection and observation.

Yes. FirstDino Grow offers a free basic plan to help you get started with everyday play and recording your child's discoveries. Optional paid features or learning experiences may be introduced in the future. We'll clearly explain what's included and any pricing before you choose to purchase or subscribe.

Grow uses your child's date of birth to suggest activities for their age. Age is a starting point. Follow your child's interests and comfort, adjust the activity where appropriate, and pause whenever needed. There is no requirement to complete every activity.

Grow focuses on simple parent–child play, including exploring textures, sounds, movement and everyday materials. Activities may include sponge squeezing, sorting objects or making marks on paper. Check each activity's age guidance, instructions and safety notes before starting.

No. Grow is designed for families looking for everyday play ideas and ways to notice their child's interests. Children have different preferences and support needs. Some activities may need adapting, and general age-based suggestions may not suit every child. If your child already receives professional support, follow that professional's individual guidance.

Many activities use simple household materials. Check the materials list before you begin and choose items suitable for your child. You do not need to buy a FirstDino product to use Grow's play ideas.

Start with a short, comfortable session and follow your child's interest. You can stop, repeat an activity another day or explore it differently. The aim is enjoyable time together, without pressure to finish or achieve a particular result.

Grow is designed for parents to use. Read the activity, put your phone aside and play together away from the screen. Afterwards, return to record your child's response or add a short note.

It is okay to stop or try something else. Your child may prefer different materials, a quieter setting or another time of day. You can record what you noticed without labelling the response as good or bad. A response to one activity does not establish a developmental difficulty.

Yes. You can record responses and add notes about what your child tried, enjoyed or wanted to explore again. These entries form a personal play journal. They are not developmental scores, assessments or comparisons with other children.

A parenting blog provides information to read. Grow connects activity suggestions with your child's age and gives you a place to remember what happened when you tried them together. Related articles offer further reading alongside the practical play experience.

Activities are published under FirstDino Grow. This contribution focuses on care, education and everyday play. It does not mean every activity has been reviewed by an occupational therapist or speech-language therapist. Any professional review will be identified on the relevant content.
